Wuper Kec
Place de Saint-Symphorien, 6 - 7030 Mons

Born Dejan Ivanović, Wuper Kec is a Serbian artist living in Indija (Serbia). He graduated from the Belgrade Polytechnic and began to take an interest in the world of street art and graffiti in 2006. Perfecting his art through his urban encounters, he ended up taking a particular interest in mural painting in search of his artistic personality.
He eventually found his identity through a more figurative approach than his initial work. He began to paint more regularly with brushes, constantly improving the quality of his strokes and his work. Wuper Kec became known for his frescoes, which focus on people and life in Serbia. Since 2016, he has devoted part of his artistic life to oil painting, taking part in numerous festivals around the world.
His fresco around the farming profession highlights the local terroir through the chicon, so popular in Saint-Symphorien.
Wuper Kec enjoyed painting for l'Art habite la Ville: ‘The locals have been really nice to me and I'm delighted that my work has been well received here in this pretty square in Saint-Symphorien’.
