David Mesguish's first place of creation is digital, where he draws the beginnings of his sculptures, which come to life through the encounter between 3D imaging techniques and traditional modelling. The artist is fascinated by polygonal aesthetics, glitch art and video games from the 80s and 90s, as well as by the dramaturgy of Baroque art. His sculptures question the past, the future, the human condition and man's place in the urban environment.

He has created a monumental work representing the innocence and purity of childhood, in the image of his daughter Lucie. The urban construction was made possible thanks to the collaboration and participation of the Jemappes-Quiévrain Social Promotion School, Façozinc and WAX Architecture.
