Medicinal plants / Louise Delattre
Boulevard J. F. Kennedy - Site Helora - 7000 Mons

Louise Delattre, from Colfontaine, is a 2nd year student at Arts² in Mons, where she has created a 450 m² mural in self-adhesive vinyl.
The project consisted of a collaboration between the Mons 2025 foundation and La Ruche d'Arts² to work with first-year bachelor students on proposals for the ‘Art inhabits the City’ project. The students were asked to take a number of photos of the infrastructure in Mons and then create visual proposals on the computer. Louise chose the Ambroise Paré hospital because of the high visibility it offers from the ring road. "The choice of medicinal plants alludes to both nature and medicine, particularly in Ambroise Paré's day, when they were used extensively. Several projects were selected, including his own, which was produced in vinyl and installed by the company ‘Application Team’ during the summer of 2019."
