L'Escale de Mons is a reflection, a point of view, of what can be the representation of our Mons heritage. Stroll through a chimerical history where illustrious characters, architecture, folklore, fauna and flora appear in quirky assemblages.
To accompany the composition, Olivier Sonck, a visual artist, proposes a sentence made up of double meanings. This participatory work was produced as part of the ‘Vhello, le Réseau Points-Nœuds en Cœur du Hainaut’ project, with the participation of the general public.
