Katia Morgand has been painting since childhood. She met Action in 2014, and since then she has been learning how to use a spray can and moving towards graphic research focused on illustration.

She's particularly fond of detail, and her work is very meticulous. With a penchant for the beauty of the world, it's her travels that inspire her and allow her to express herself fully. Within the KAT&ACTION duo, she creates stylized animals with clean lines and vibrant colors.

ACTION fell in love with letters 20 years ago. He explores every possible means of creation: light, wood, modeling, painting, with spray cans, rollers, and more. In recent years he has focused on geometry and mathematics. He translates his lettering reflexes into more minimalist compositions where every line is cherished, marked by precision and clarity. Within the KAT&ACTION duo, he creates the structure of the visuals, within which his six letters are hidden.

The Duo

Their shared universe is an equation of shapes and colours that combines the letter and its geometric treatment in the ACTION style with the pure, figurative lines of KAT. Their aim is to merge the two into one. Using aerosol and acrylic paints, Kat & Action use the street to give animals their rightful place in urban space. They ask the public about their responsibility in the fate of Nature.

Mesvin is one of the villages in the Mons area that has agriculture at its heart. There are many fields and farms in the village, so it's only natural that Kat & Action should depict this animal atmosphere with brio.
