Matteo Capobianco, aka Ufo Cinque, was born in Novara in 1981. Originally an active member of the Italian graffiti scene, he gradually began to adopt a broader definition of urban art while continuing his design studies at the Politecnico di Milano.

Always deeply convinced of the infinite possibilities of murals as a communication tool, he began experimenting with different techniques. At the heart of Ufo Cinque's vision is the theme of layering: each work blends traditional painting techniques with a project-oriented attitude, where multiple levels of interpretation intertwine. The form is never separated from the function, and they support each other to create a world of effortless beauty.

My intention with this mural is to capture the essence of the Hainaut Province with all its diversity and richness. By creating a map of the province that highlights the monuments and the most beautiful iconic places, I want to offer the residents of Mons and visitors a visual journey through the architectural and cultural treasures that we can be proud of in this region.
This artwork aims to be both a tribute to the grandeur of the Hainaut heritage and an invitation to explore this splendid province.
