Your experience begins on the Grand Place with a visit to the . Thanks to the audio guide, this iconic building, recently renovated, will hold no more secrets for you!

Next, head to the top of the . The only Baroque belfry in Belgium and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, it offers exceptional views over the city’s rooftops and surrounding countryside.

In the afternoon, discover the exhibition , presented in Mons from October onwards. Through an outstanding selection of works, immerse yourself in the poetic and colourful world of one of the greatest artists of the twentieth century. Blending dreams, symbolism and memories, this exhibition invites you on a unique artistic journey through Chagall’s work.

At the end of the day, enjoy the unique atmosphere of the Mons Museum Night. For this special occasion, the city’s museums and cultural venues open their doors in a festive and friendly setting. Visits, activities, encounters and unusual discoveries will punctuate this exceptional evening, offering a fresh perspective on the heritage of Mons.

DAY 2: discover the city!

After breakfast, set off to explore Mons, Belgium’s capital of urban art.

The “” trail takes you through the city centre to discover monumental murals, contemporary installations and artworks integrated into the public space. This surprising walk turns every street into an open-air gallery.

The adventure continues with Totemus, a new-generation treasure hunt that invites you to explore Mons in a fun and interactive way. Riddles, anecdotes and challenges guide you along the route.

To round off the day, discover the. As you stroll through the city centre, step into a variety of exhibition spaces showcasing both emerging talents and established artists. From painting and sculpture to photography and contemporary art, this trail offers an insight into the richness and diversity of Mons’ artistic scene while revealing the charm of its historic streets.

DAY 3: a cultural getaway to Grand-Hornu!

To round off your stay, head to the site, a gem of European industrial architecture listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Accompanied by a guide, discover the exhibitions at MACS – Museum of Contemporary Arts and CID – Centre for Innovation and Design. Together, these two institutions offer a complementary approach to contemporary creation, bringing together art, design, architecture and innovation. The guided tour will also allow you to discover the remarkable history of Grand-Hornu, a former mining complex that has become one of Belgium’s leading centres for contemporary culture.
