Centered on the iconic figure of David Hockney, the event brings together works by major artists such as Vincent van Gogh (1853–1890) and Edvard Munch (1863–1944), along with a selection of paintings by Symbolist painters. Their depictions of the landscape echo Mahler’s universal themes: the beauty of the seasons, the eternal cycle of life, and the melancholy bound to the human condition.
This exceptional exhibition invites visitors on an aesthetic and spiritual journey, where art and nature converge to reflect on humanity’s place in relation to time and finitude.
With the support of the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and Wallonia.
