In the morning, join a guided tour and discover the Grand-Place (Main Square), described by Victor Hugo, the collegiate church of Saint-Waltrude, celebrated by Adolphe Mathieu, and the former prison where Paul Verlaine was incarcerated. In the afternoon, after a convivial lunch, continue your cultural immersion with a visit to the Losseau House, a beautiful 19th-century townhouse, a true testament to the architecture and bourgeois life of the time. This historically rich location now houses a collection of documents and objects related to the literature and history of Mons, enriching your literary journey.
