Come experience an exciting day discovering two jewels of Belgian heritage: Mons and Binche. This excursion will immerse you in the history, culture, and local traditions while exploring UNESCO World Heritage sites. The day begins with a guided tour of the city of Mons, focusing on its UNESCO heritage. You will explore the architectural and historical treasures of Mons, with an essential stop at the Doudou Museum, dedicated to the famous Ducasse of Mons, listed as UNESCO heritage.
After a delicious lunch at a restaurant in the city center or the surrounding area, you will head to Binche (aboard the coach of the group), a city iconic for its Carnival. Upon arrival, you will enjoy a guided tour of the International Carnival and Mask Museum of Binche, where you will learn more about this unique folkloric tradition, which is listed as UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage.
