Once a year, during the weekend of Trinity, all the people of Mons go into a frenzy to celebrate the traditional Ducasse known as the Doudou. In 2005 the celebration was recognised by UNESCO. Today, this oral and intangible heritage is more alive than ever. Follow the trail of Saint George and Saint Waltrude. It will take you through some of the most emblematic sites of the city’s architectural and artistic patrimony.

Super musée, j'aurais aimé plus d'histoire sur l'évolution du combat dit du Lumeçon. Quand sont apparues Cybelle et Poliade, le tout premier combat , il y avait X acteur, la chorégraphie dans le rond était.... Bref, le musée est très chouette, niveau historique de Ste Waudru, St George très intéressant, un bon moment en famille.

Musée dédié au festival et au personnage de Doudou. L'enfant a adoré, il y a beaucoup d'écrans interactifs et de jeux. Je suis sûr que des adultes seront également ravis. Personnellement, je ne suis pas très intéressé par ce genre de choses. Mais je le répète, l'enfant était ravi.

Eine gute Website, die die Schutzheiligen von Mons, St. Georg und St. Gertrud, sowie die lokalen Feste im Laufe der Geschichte detailliert beschreibt. Hier habe ich mir einen Überblick über die Stadt und ihre berühmtesten Sehenswürdigkeiten verschafft. Empfehlenswert, wenn Sie die Stadt genauer kennenlernen möchten.

Nice interactive museum. Unfortunately the projectors in the rooms were off, make sure to ask the entrance to have them turned on.
