An exceptional heritage to discover

The Treasure houses a unique collection of historical and religious artifacts, precious witnesses to the rich past of the collegiate church. You will discover:

  • Objects that belonged to Saint Waltrude
  • Religious gold and silverware dating from the 12th to the 20th century
  • Memories of the Chapter, illustrating the life and traditions of the canons
  • Alabaster statues, including remarkable masterpieces by the famous Mons sculptor Jacques du Broeucq (1505-1584)
  • Ancient paintings from the 16th to the 18th century
  • Precious manuscripts dating back to the 13th century
  • A collection of shrouds that once wrapped the saint’s bones, true testimonies of devotion
