A Family Business Thriving
In 1991, Nathalie Eloir took over the brewery, followed by her partner Georges Levecq in 1995. Today, the brewery is a major player in the craft beer world, distributed not only in Belgium but also in France, Italy, Sweden, Denmark, the United States, and Asia. The brewery places a strong emphasis on the quality of its products: Belgian hops, natural malts, yeast, spices, and water sourced directly from a well in a rocky underground. No artificial flavors, no taste enhancers, and no added sugar.
Craft Beers with Unique Flavors
The brewery produces a wide range of beers, each offering a unique taste experience:
- L’Abbaye des Rocs Blonde: fruity and spicy
- L’Abbaye des Rocs Brune: bitterness and sweetness
- La Montagnarde Ambrée: bitter with a caramelized flavor
- La Blanche des Honnelles: strong bitterness with a peppery base
- La Triple Impériale Brune: aromas of candy sugar, dried fruits, and forest fruits
- La Grand Cru Brune: spicy flavors
- La Nuit Étoilée Ambrée: spicy, delicate bitterness, and fruity
- La Passe Tout Outre Blonde: hops stand out, with no spices
