Starting from the renowned vineyards of Domaine du Chant d’Éole, this route takes you through peaceful rolling countryside towards Vignoble des Agaises (Ruffus), another flagship of Belgian viticulture. Along the way, country roads and picturesque paths provide an authentic experience combining nature, local terroir and regional expertise.

This cycling tour leads you to some of the region’s most remarkable heritage sites. You will discover the Neolithic Flint Mines of Spiennes, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a unique testimony to humanity’s earliest mining activities. The route also takes you to the Saint-Symphorien Military Cemetery, an international place of remembrance renowned for its exceptional character and moving history.

The itinerary passes by Havré Castle, an elegant medieval landmark set amid lush greenery, as well as one of the region’s most iconic engineering achievements: the Thieu Boat Lifts, a UNESCO World Heritage Site showcasing the industrial ingenuity behind the Canal du Centre.

Combining vineyards, remembrance sites, medieval heritage and industrial achievements, this route offers a diverse and rewarding loop, ideal for cycling enthusiasts.
