A route between preserved nature and memories of the past
Throughout your walk, you will have the opportunity to discover:
- The Hunters’ Pavilion: a stop with rustic and historical charm.
- The Grand Bouillon spoil heap: a remnant of the mining era that shaped the identity of the Borinage.
The forest, rich in fauna and flora, is an ideal setting for walking enthusiasts, nature photography and family outings.

The objective? To highlight Colfontaine’s natural heritage while raising visitors’ awareness of environmental protection.
