Der Preis ist für Mons und den Zustand der Zimmer recht hoch angesetzt. Die Zimmer waren sauber und funktional, jedoch deutlich in die Jahre gekommen. So befand sich beispielsweise ein mit Bauschaum gefülltes Loch in der Wand, offenbar von einer eingeschlagenen Türklinke. Die Dusche war stark verkalkt, es gab einfache Plastik-Zahnputzbecher, und das Schlüsselloch in der Toilettentür war notdürftig mit Toilettenpapier ausgestopft. Insgesamt wirkte es, als sei einmal in das Hotel investiert worden, danach aber kaum noch etwas in Instandhaltung geflossen. Positiv hervorzuheben sind die sehr sauberen Betten sowie das freundliche Personal, das auch Englisch sprach. Für eine Übernachtung ist es in Ordnung

Nous avons séjourné à l'hôtel Grand Place tenu par les mêmes propriétaires, nous avons été facturé 2 fois pour nos chambres (paiement en ligne + paiement sur place), 2 mois après toujours impossible d'obtenir un remboursement malgré de multiples relances.

L’avis est positif avec un tout petit bémol : pas d’éclairage suffisant en tête de lit pour lire en soirée. Prévoir une lampe frontale ou se contenter de regarder des écrans. Ou s’adonner à d’autres activités sans besoin d’être « éclairés » Autrement le petit-déjeuner est 👍
