We had a wonderful stay at La Chrysalide! Super clean, very comfortable, quiet, and with every attention to detail. Awesome breakfast with delicious homemade products! Great bathroom with a big tub, great shower, bath products provided, and big fluffy towels. Martine was super welcoming - she even picked us up from the train station so that we wouldn’t have to take a bus after our long day. This was an unexpected extra step of thoughtfulness that sets La Chrysalide apart from other guesthouses - Martine is just so kind and generous! She also told us the story of Van Gogh’s beginnings as an artist, and gave us lots of information about what to do in and around Mons - we recommend the Van Gogh house. Another huge selling point for La Chrysalide is the lovely garden - super green and peaceful and beautiful. Overall, I highly recommend La Chrysalide - don’t hesitate to book it!

The hosts were great, really kind and nice, they took good care of us and showed us around their beautiful garden. The bedroom and bathroom were clean and beautifully decorated and the bed was really comfortable. We would 100% recommend staying here and if we ever get the chance to do so again, we will!

Nette kamer en badkamer. Beetje te veel prularia overal. Super vriendelijk en warm onthaal. Uitgebreid ontbijt met zelfgemaakte en streekproducten op terras met zicht op mooi onderhouden tuin
