Hotel Utopia & Lodges

This hotel has been one of the worst I have ever visited. The ladies at the counter where nice but you could see they didn't give a rats ass if the hotel would go in flames or if we were green and from mars. The elevator was working but we had to call it several times because it was not responding, even empty. Or it would stay open and not close anymore. Finally we took the stairs. My 6 year old daughter was scared. The rooms where smelling like humidity and fungus. As seen on the pictures everything is wet. Also the wall connected with the bathroom was badly recovered to hide the moist behind the original paper, but was peeling from moist. Insect blood and other strange things sticking on the walls, damaged furniture, tv working half of the time and giving snow on the channels every 10min, impossible to close the window. Airconditioning full of dirt and dust. Sheets full of hair. We had to take them off and shake them out and turned them upside down. The toilet smelled like a public urinoir with brakelines in the porcelain pot. Lift up the seat and was dirty yellow. The shower in the bathroom was full of black fungus in the corners along with some hairs. Luckely we only had to stay there 1 night. If longer I would have left. You pay cheap but you even don't get what you pay for. Only advice I can give. Look for anything else than this hotel. The only thing missing was ghosts.

Ein sehr ruhig und schön gelegenes, angenehmes, durchdacht gestaltetes Hotel. Das Zimmer war geräumig und gut gestaltet sowie mit ausreichend Ablagemöglichkeiten versehen. Aufgrund der Waldlage war das Zimmer nach außen ausgesprochen ruhig. Nach innen war es durch die Tür eher hellhörig. Das Bett war angenehm fest, eine Auswahl an Kissen war nicht vorhanden. Das Bad und die Dusche war geräumig und angenehm, auch wenn der Spiegel beim Duschen immer sofort beschlug. Das Frühstück war ordentlich. Der Service war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Der Fitnessraum ist Recht groß, gut gestaltet, durchaus hochwertig ausgestattet und rund um die Uhr nutzbar. Parkplätze sind direkt vor dem Haus kostenfrei vorhanden. Sie sind Abends praktisch immer voll belegt. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis war wirklich gut.

Initially, we had booked a normal hotel room. The place was ideal, a 20-minute drive from Pairi Daiza. The hotel looked good in the pictures and including breakfast it was not expensive. Upon arrival we were amazed at how nice the hotel looked. At check-in we were told that we had been upgraded to the twin box. A wooden house outside the hotel but not far from the hotel. The twin box is a nice addition, as are all the other little houses. It was a very nice experience and the cottage looked brand new! It did move back and forth as you walked yourself back and forth, even if you walked quietly. The shower stall is a bit awkward, water is everywhere because it is not sealed. I also didn't find any ventilation in the bathroom so I just opened the window. We slept great, it was nice and quiet and the beds were very good. The cottage was also clean. The next morning we had breakfast, this is a really good breakfast. The choice is huge and the coffee is good! When they are done renovating I am sure this hotel will be very much loved! Thanks for the upgrade, we had a wonderful time!

Un environnement rafraîchissant, du calme, de grands arbres, un beau parc. Une petite salle de sport, utile pour dépenser quelques calories. Mais pas de piscine. Un restaurant correct. On croit déceler un manque de personnel car des réparations ici et là gagneraient à être effectuées.

Kamers kunnen wel een beetje onderhoud gebruiken, wifi en bereik erg slecht.
