The rating of the place for me looks like a bit of a stretch. The food at this place is terribly expensive compared to its quality. I ordered the pork steak that was so overcooked that I could cut a knife with it. As for the atmosphere it's a lovely place with beautiful interior and lovely staff, but the food, dayyym.
I didn't eat here but came back for a drink several times. Make sure to have a look around the building, this place has been here since 1905 - also a great proper Belgium beer selection 👌
We zochten naar een klein ontbijt in de stad en hier kon je voor 8,5€ enkele viennoisseries, koffie en fruitsap verkrijgen, wat voldoende was voor ons. Het was drukker dan voorzien dus we hadden begrip voor de vertraging door de patron zijn vriendelijkheid. ‘s Avonds zijn we daardoor nog enkele pinten gaan drinken op het terras waar het ook gezellig vertoeven was met een correcte bediening.
Ils nous prennent pour des pigeons à plumer, ou des portefeuilles à vider ? Dur de servir une carafe d'eau ? Pas de pain pour accompagner le plat, et ils se trompent dans la commande sans rectifier. Pas commerciaux du tout.
