A Family Story Since 1988

Founded by Pierre-Alex Carlier and Marie-Noëlle Pourtois, the brewery was born at a time when craft beer production in Belgium was experiencing a renaissance. In its early days, the "Meura" brewing system installed in a family garage allowed for the production of 750 liters of beer per day, marking the beginning of this brewing adventure.

A Growing Craft Brewery

Over the years, Brasserie de Blaugies has become a reference in the world of Belgian craft beer. Each beer is brewed with quality ingredients and according to traditional methods, ensuring an authentic flavor. All beers are unfiltered and undergo refermentation, which enhances their aromas.

Brasserie de Blaugies Today

In 2000, Kévin, son of Pierre-Alex and Marie-Noëlle, took over the management of the brewery. In 2018, a major investment allowed for the construction of a new building and the addition of a brewing room equipped with a Meura filter, enabling the production of 3000 liters of beer four times a day.

Brewery Tour and Craft Beer Tasting

Today, the brewery attracts visitors from around the world, offering a unique experience of discovering brewing and tasting craft beers. The brewery also has a restaurant serving local dishes that pair perfectly with the beers produced.
