visitMons, the Tourism House of the Mons Region

The primary mission of visitMons is to promote tourism in the Mons region, both for leisure and business, abroad and within Belgium. visitMons includes the Tourist Office of the City of Mons, the Tourism House of the Mons Region, and the Marina of Grand-Large, each legally constituted as separate non-profit organizations.

visitMons encompasses 13 municipalities: Boussu, Colfontaine, Dour, Frameries, Hensies, Honnelles, Jurbise, Lens, Mons, Quaregnon, Quévy, Quiévrain, and Saint-Ghislain.

Personalized Welcome

At visitMons, you will be warmly welcomed and cared for: our team of multilingual reception agents will listen to you and provide advice. You will have the opportunity to watch films, browse our brochures and maps, access our online tools, and purchase tickets for various sites, museums, and events in the City of Mons.

Our main missions are: welcoming and informing visitors, promoting the region and managing communications, collecting and analysing tourism data, organising guided tours for individuals or groups, selling tickets and local merchandise.

Tourist Information Offices in the Region

Dour Tourist Office

A window onto the Hauts-Pays, the municipality of Dour opens up to a landscape blending forests, slag heaps, and steep valleys, making it a paradise for nature lovers. The tourist office offers flyers featuring walking trails and cycling routes (available on smartphones via QR codes). It’s the perfect complement to the long-distance hiking paths GR 129 HP and GR 412, the Node-to-Node network, and the RAVeL L98 and L98A routes.

Royal Syndicat d'Initiative du Haut-Pays

Hauts-Pays Tourist Office

From Easter to the end of September, you will find publications from the Syndicat d'Initiative, thematic brochures, walking maps, various books about the region, and even postcards. You will also receive plenty of information, provided in person by the association’s volunteers, about local events and celebrations organized by the highly active local community.

Frameries Tourist Office

Created on April 20, 1989, the Syndicate of Initiative ensures the development of tourism through the numerous collaborations it coordinates or supports. It highlights the cultural, touristic, and heritage resources of the five villages that make up the municipality of Frameries.

The House of the Nature Park serves as a gateway to the Park. Throughout the year, the Park team welcomes you here to provide information about its projects and activities. You will find all the brochures and walking maps available. Of course, they are also ready to listen to you and will be happy to answer your questions.

Created in 1983 to celebrate the thirteenth centenary of the City, the Initiative Syndicate promotes the tourism development of Saint-Ghislain. Through the numerous events it organizes or supports, it showcases the cultural, touristic, and heritage resources of the seven municipalities that make up the Entity.
