Located near the Grand-Place and the Belfry, the Youth Hostel of Mons offers modern rooms with private bathrooms, breakfast included, and a choice between dormitories or private rooms. It also features meeting rooms, a parking area for bikes/motorbikes, and a warm welcome. A bright and affordable place, ideal for a "Chic and affordable" stay.
With 115 beds divided into 29 rooms, Mons’ youth hostel is a lovely place to stay, with wooden bunk beds and separate WCs, sinks and shower rooms. The youth hostel lets you choose between renting a bed in a dormitory or a private room. Either way, you can have breakfast and linen free of charge. The hostel also has three well-equipped multipurpose meeting rooms: TV-VCR, overhead projector, screen, flipchart, telephone and Internet (wifi).
The hostel also has its own private car park.
Mons’ youth hostel enjoys a fantastic location near the Grand-Place and not far from the station. It’s packed with personality, thanks to the work put into it by architect Jean Barthélémy. On the corner of Rue des Gades and Rue des Clercs, at the bottom of Belgium’s only baroque belfry, the youth hostel is open 7 days a week from 7.30am until 10pm. It’s an architectural triumph, which means that light reflects from every wall. This brightness is soothing and backed up by staff who are just as warm and welcoming. Everything is designed to make sure you have a great night. This attention to detail demonstrates the quality reflected in the hotel’s motto: “Chic et pas cher” (Chic and cheap). You won’t be disappointed!
The reception is open from 7:30am to 10pm every day (reduced hours may apply on Sundays and public holidays).

Nous sommes des élèves de l'IND spécialisé de Philippeville et nous nous sommes rendus dans cet établissement du 09 au 11 juin 2026. Nous avons été très bien reçus et chaque demande ou question a écouté avec attention. Le personnel s'est montré très agréable et les infrastructures ont répondu à nos attentes. Encore merci pour tout et à bientôt!
Repond parfaitement aux critères pour une auberge de jeunesse Activités et jeux disponibles à l'accueil (billard, ping-pong, baby-foot, jeux de société,...) A boire et à manger Le personnel est accueillant.
A perfect experience discovering Mons
Die Lage der Jugendherberge ist wirklich super. Schöner gemeinschaftlicher Empfangsbereich mit Bar, diversen Sitzmöbeln, Tischtennisplatte und Billardtisch sowie einem kleinen Aussenbereich. Architektonisch ein sehr interessantes Gebäude. Dementsprechend sind die Zimmer auch eher klein und es wird schnell warm. Die Fenster lassen sich nur minimal kippen. Ein Standventilator wird allerdings in jedem Zimmer zur Verfügung gestellt.
