Destination Terrils is a cross-border European project aimed at promoting the natural and cultural wealth of the Franco-Walloon mining belt from Charleroi to Béthune. The project plans, by 2028, to offer a wealth of activities and infrastructures that will allow diverse experiences across the territory: the establishment of a node-to-node walking network to explore the area over several days, enriched by artistic installations that enhance the visit, treasure hunts for the whole family, facilities for outdoor sports, and the organization of cultural activities!
