DAY 1 : THE ESSENTIALS

Your experience begins on the Grand-Place with a visit to the City Hall. Thanks to the audio guide, this iconic, newly renovated building will hold no more secrets for you!
Next, head up high to the top of the Belfry of Mons. As the only Baroque belfry in Belgium and a UNESCO World Heritage site, it offers an exceptional panoramic view over the city roofs and the surrounding countryside.
The afternoon continues with a discovery of the Marc Chagall exhibition, presented in Mons starting this October. Through an exceptional selection of works, plunge into the poetic and colorful universe of one of the greatest artists of the 20th century. Blending dreams, symbolism, and inspiration drawn from his memories, this exhibition invites you on a unique artistic journey into the heart of Chagall's work.

DAY 2: Discoveries in the City!

After breakfast, set off to discover Mons, the Belgian capital of urban art.
The "Art Lives in the City" route takes you through the city center to encounter monumental frescoes, contemporary installations, and artworks integrated into the public space. A surprising walk that transforms every street into an open-air gallery.
The adventure continues with Totemus, a new-generation treasure hunt that invites you to explore Mons in a fun and interactive way. Riddles, anecdotes, and challenges line your path.
To round off the day, explore the art galleries of Mons. As you stroll through the city center, step inside varied exhibition spaces where emerging artists and established creators mingle. Spanning painting, sculpture, photography, and contemporary art, this trail invites you to explore the richness and diversity of the Mons art scene while discovering the charm of the city's historic streets.

DAY 3: Cultural Escapade at Grand-Hornu!

To round off your stay, head towards the Grand-Hornu site, a jewel of European industrial architecture and a UNESCO World Heritage site.
Accompanied by a guide, discover the exhibitions of the MACS (Museum of Contemporary Arts) and the CID (Center for Innovation and Design). Together, these two institutions offer a complementary approach to contemporary creation, blending art, design, architecture, and innovation. The guided tour will also allow you to understand the exceptional history of the Grand-Hornu, a former mining complex that has now become one of the landmarks of contemporary culture in Belgium.
